The Carlisle Public Schools is seeking a knowledgeable and organized person with strong interpersonal skills to fill the role of Assistant to the Business Manager, which has become available due to a retirement. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects under the pressures of deadlines, and ability to maintain confidentiality.This is a full-time, year-round position which supports the Business Manager and the Business Office in a variety of capacities. Responsibilities include: Processing and tracking purchase ordersCorresponding with and managing vendor relationshipsManaging accounts payable and receivablePosting payrollManaging personnel filesOther duties as assigned by the Business ManagerKnowledge of MUNIS, Harpers Payroll Services, and Excel a plus. Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
