PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assure all engineering products prepared in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. (60%)
- Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision (20%)
- Support nuclear engineering work functions. (10%)
- Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies and procedures. (10%)
JOB SCOPE
- Performs introductory level nuclear engineering technical tasks
- Works independently with some supervisory oversight.
- Must be able to collect data from the field, interpret and incorporate the information into applicable databases and documents
- Prepare engineering analysis under supervision
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Science Engrg, Engineering Technology) and 0-2 years' experience OR
- Two-year technical degree and 1+years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years nuclear experience
- Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area
