Job description

As a Mini-Bar Attendant, you will maintain original, slightly unconventional inventories that pique guests' interest and awaken their appetites. From cleaning and stocking to inspection and quality assurance, your energy and attention-to-detail will ensure guests are refreshed, revitalizing them in their recess from our bustling urban playground.

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Stock and replenish items as needed, including alcoholic options.
  • Confirm and adjust charges through web interface
  • Maintain mini bars for guests.
  • Maintain mini bar storage area in a neat and organized manner including removing trash.
  • Remove opened or used mini bar items and maintain appropriate mini-bar inventories.
  • Check for expired products and maintain the freshest items in the bar at all times.
  • Respond to guest requests using HotSOS (computer system).
  • Provide exceptional guest service.
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of services provided by hotel including but not limited to dining and nightlife.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required:

  • At least six months of customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

  • At least one year experience in a customer service related field
  • Previous mini bar experience.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.

  • Work is performed in operational environment.

  • Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
  • Prolonged telephone usage.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong eye/hand coordination.
  • Use of standard office equipment.
  • Basic math. .
  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
