AUDIOLOGIST OR HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST…WORK WITH THE “BEST OF THE UPSTATE”!!!
We are a busy, fast-growing private practice in Upstate South Carolina with multiple locations (Greenville, Spartanburg and Simpsonville). We are seeking an energetic, compassionate Audiologist or HIS for a part-time position. This position is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate must be licensed in South Carolina or willing to go through the licensing process. If you enjoy dispensing, and working closely with patients, an exciting opportunity awaits you! Daily tasks and responsibilities
· Establish a good rapport/relationship with the patients and their family; and conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations/setting realistic expectations
· Hearing Device, assistive device - selection & fitting
· Real ear measurements for hearing aid fitting & verification
· Cleaning & repair of all makes/models of hearing devices
· Make ear impressions for molds for aids, musicians, hunters, swimmers
· Tinnitus Evaluation & management
· Cerumen removal
· Counsel patients, participate in community outreach events
· Maintain documentation and patient files
Qualifications
· Active and current SC Audiology or HIS license/ability to obtain.
· Au.D Degree is a plus.
The successful Audiologist/HIS will also possess the following:
· Strong interpersonal skills
· The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
· Strong time management skills
· The ability to work in a team/family environment
· The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
