JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Detailer to join our team at Ellsworth Auto Body Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles after the completion of repairs, ensuring that all vehicles are presented to customers in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive care, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and detail vehicles after repairs to ensure that they are presented to customers in excellent condition
• Performing high-quality detailing services, including washing, waxing, and polishing of exterior surfaces, cleaning of interior surfaces and vacuuming of carpets and upholstery
• Inspect vehicles to identify any damage or defects that may need attention
• Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete detailing tasks, including pressure washers, buffers and vacuums effectively and safely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment
• Keep detailed records of work performed on each vehicle
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive detailing
• Knowledge of detailing techniques and products
• ability to use detailing tools and equipment effective
• Ability to work independently in a face paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions
• Outstanding time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks, including bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
