Job Summary

Provides Exceptional Customer Service Experience to all CARSTAR of Cornerstone Park customers on the phone, in person and throughout the entire collision repair process. Will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process. Also responsible for coordinating communications with all other parties involved in the repair process, this includes insurance representatives and suppliers.

Job Duties

• Estimate all drive-in appointments as well as “walk in” customers and complete repair plans
• Complete process review with customer
• Repair Orders: All files are opened with DRP compliance, including obtaining proper authorizations
• Check in vehicle upon drop off with customer
• Prepare and complete proper paperwork for final customer packet prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice)
• Provide post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates
• Total loss administration
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Final QC, including test drive
• Deliver vehicle to customer upon completion
• Comply with all CARSTAR safety rules, guidelines and standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned including, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, assisting other teammates, etc.

Skill/Requirements

• 2 years prior experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser.
• Prior damage analysis experience – hybrid vehicles, restraint systems, electrical systems, and identifying hail, theft and vandalism damage.
• Experience with CCC collision estimating and management systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• I-CAR training or other industry training is preferred.
• History of working independently without close supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong organization and problem solving
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to work the following days and hours:
• Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• Overtime hours as needed

Preferred

• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software
• Previous experience working in CCC ONE Total Repair Platform

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential physical requirements include:

• Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, squat, kneel and pulling
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
• Standing, sitting and walking
• Performing repetitive motions

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to:

• Paint, fumes and particles
• Dirt / Dust
• Chemicals / Toxins
• Varying heat / cold
• Intermittent noise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
