Job description
BC Transportation has an opening for an Experienced Auto Mechanic who can keep our Fleet Vehicles in good working order -- provide regular on-site vehicle check-ups and maintenance, minor repairs, and occasional major repairs.
Ideal candidates MUST have the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience as Mechanic
- Minimum 2 years experience as an auto mechanic
- Provide your own tools
- Valid CA drivers license and clean driving record
- A problem-solving ability
- Very good physical strength and stamina
- High school diploma is preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect Vehicles, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Perform thorough maintenance on Fleet Vehicles
- Keep logs of work and report on issues
- Undertake other duties as assigned
