Brief Overview:
The Automated Care Portfolio Manager will report to the VP of Program Development and be responsible for developing and maintaining a program offerings portfolio, working closely with cross-functional teams to create a single, accessible source for all sellable Automated Care and SilverCloud programs. The successful candidate will be able to identify gaps in the program portfolio, prioritize program creation/productization, and evangelize our program offerings among Amwell. They will work to turn programs into off-the-shelf configurable products, facilitate the transfer of knowledge regarding Automated Care and SilverCloud programs to the broader company, influence and prioritize internal roadmaps, and promote program enablement. This role is crucial in enabling program scalability and promoting Amwell's overall business strategy.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build a program portfolio for all Amwell built Automated Care programs. Work closely with the VP of Program Development, Amwell Medical Group, and other stakeholders to create a single source for all Amwell resources to access sellable Automated Care and SilverCloud programs. You will also work with the following teams: Clinical Informatics, Conversation Strategy and Design, Program Operations, Customer Success Managers, Integrations Team, Commercialization and Product, Data Science and Research teams
- Assess the needs of Sales, Account Directors, Marketing, Product and Customer Experinece team to ensure portfolio infomration enables better understanding of the products and better conversations with prospective and existing client around programs.
- Develop and own the Automated Care program portfolio roadmap/prioritization, owning the creation of the program portfolio, and driving the process to have validated information in the program
- Evangelize the program portfolio internally, turn programs into products, identify gaps in the program portfolio, and align with program development team to influence prioritization
- Facilitate and transfer knowledge of Automated Care and SilverCloud programs to the broader Amwell, support the VP of Program Development, and work with Amwell Medical Group to help bridge the gap of internally driven projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership while assisting the VP of Program Development on program planning and creation for strategic partners as necessary
- Promote Program Enablement for Automated Care and SilverCloud
- Be the program portfolio subject matter expert
Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of overall experience in technology, B2B SaaS, and/or healthcare, including end-to-end experience for medium to large projects and programs.
- Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Possess clear, effective verbal and written communication skills highlighted by the ability to actively listen, problem solve, influence, and communicate effectively with both technical- and business-oriented cross-functional teams
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information, correct stakeholders, and innovative solutions
- Track record of strong customer focus and uncompromising integrity
- Experience and comfort interfacing with senior executives, both internally and externally
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations through effective negotiation and partnering
- Exceptional communication, leadership, team building, and people management skills
- Experience in program development process and oversight
- Experience in a software development lifecycle
- Proven track record of implementation and utilization of 3rd party tools to create and optimize workflows
- Ability to drive multiple high visibility projects in tandem and communicate status succinctly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in using digital programs to supplement traditional models of healthcare
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Project Management Professional (PMPĀ®) certification preferred
- Sales experience preferred
Other successful candidates may have a background in one or more of the following areas:
- Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare field (e.g., RN, RT, PT) with direct clinical healthcare experience
- Experience working with pharmaceutical companies
- SaaS software implementation experience

The typical base salary range for this position is $104,480 - $143,660. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
