We are seeking motivated automotive technicians and diesel mechanics who want to grow financially and professionally while working in a postive customer focused environment and a growing department. We are hiring automotive technicians in all positions:
- A/B Level Automotive Technicians/Mechanics
- Diesel Mechanics
- Senior Level Mechanics
- Ford Master Certified Technicians
Overview:
Our Ford automotive technicians/mechanics are responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance consistent with Ford Factory and Pennyrile Ford standards. We will never offer any work to our customers that are not necessary but will always recommend those services we believe will provide a safer and more reliable vehicle driving experience.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis and testing
- Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
- Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
- Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory, stocking and other general functions
- Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings and educational classes as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience highly preferred
- One year of dealer-level or large facility experience highly preferred
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Safety and customer service oriented
- Basic computer and Internet skills
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift heavy objects as needed
