We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated AV Designer who will be responsible for performing consulting services related to Conference Room, Classroom, Lecture Hall and similar audiovisual spaces to join our Technology + Acoustics practice. Responsibilities

As a technical project manager, you will have the ultimate responsibility for successful delivery of your project scope. This role will focus on consulting on low-voltage infrastructure for buildings as well as managing projects and clients. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with high-performing technology systems with specific focus on audiovisual systems, but with good understanding of telecom and security systems
• Prepare detailed drawings including signal flow diagrams
• Develop specifications related to AV and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure our system will function
• Collaborate with other team members to develop high-quality information technology related infrastructure construction drawings, details and specifications and assist with guiding our customers through the technology design process
• Lead project meetings and keep the team informed on project status
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, products and services
• Answer questions during construction, reply to submittals and RFIs

Qualified Candidates Preferably Possess

• 2+ Years in the audiovisual or low voltage design field
• CTS-D or other audiovisual certifications or design courses are a plus, but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• Intimate knowledge of services, hardware, infrastructure, and systems design
• Understanding of industry standards and ability to commission / check-out systems

• Proven producer of detailed, thorough work product
