Calibrate, a premier grooming studio specializing in a fully-curated experience. We are seeking an experienced and talented Barber to join our team. As a Barber at Calibrate, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clients, ensuring that they leave our studio feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Our barbers each have their own private studio - which enhances the personalize care given to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess hair and scalp health and recommend treatments and products
- Consult with clients and advise hairstyle and hair treatment options
- Cut and style hair to client’s specifications
- Trim and groom client’s facial hair with combs, razors, scissors and clippers
- Maintain salon sanitation and health standards, including cleaning and disinfecting workstations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering their questions, and making recommendations for additional services
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including sterilizing tools and equipment
- Stay up-to-date on the latest barber care techniques and trends
- Offer products and services to clients
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and products
Requirements:
● Valid Barber license
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing barber care services
● Excellent customer service and communication skills
● Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
● Ability to work in an experience-driven environment with a strong attention to detail
● Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
