Job description

We are looking for a smart, highly-organized project manager to join our team to help manage employee communication projects primarily involving the design/production of employee benefits guides. Familiarity with employee benefits and agency-related design project management experience is required as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, collaborative person with exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills who can motivate and lead others in a virtual, entrepreneurial environment while being a good team player. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Benefits Guide Production Specialist/Project Manager vary greatly, but the primary function in this position is servicing the needs of employee benefit clients.

Large corporate account project management experience is helpful, as is experience with print/mailing houses.

Project Manager Role and Responsibilities

  • Direct client-facing opportunity (largely HR client demographic)
  • Responsible for the day-to-day well-being of the client relationship
  • Coordinate and facilitate kick-off meetings and reviews
  • Problem-solve with designers in a creative and timely manner
  • Manage and maintain timelines
  • Assist clients with daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests, escalating issues as needed
  • Create, review and edit employee benefit guides, benefit manuals and other client materials as requested
  • Identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs
  • Maintain client records and update client communications
  • Provide visual direction to designers
  • Collect and organize vendor invoices
  • Work with CRM and PM Tools (we use Zoho and ClickUp primarily) to track progress and keep things organized
  • Act as point of contact for delivery of final campaign and service communications to ensure clients are satisfied with Flimp platform-related products and services, including troubleshooting of technical issues

Project Manager Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in media, communications or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in HR or creative project management, ideally within a broker or studio/agency setting
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once (upwards of 30-40+ projects during busy season) - efficient time management is a must!
  • Direct client and vendor facing experience is a must
  • Experience with print/mailing services is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
