Job description
Busy Orthopedic Surgery office in South Orange County has a full time or part time (afternoons) opening for Work Comp Coordinator/Billing Assistant. Must be very reliable, detail oriented, have great customer service skills, administrative skills, and a minimum of one year prior medical experience. Bilingual/ Spanish speaking a plus, but not required. Responsibilities include: Management of incoming request for authorization, timely RFA submission, RFA status follow up, and other work comp duties as needed. Greeting patients by phone, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, entering demographic information and other related clerical duties. Assist Billing Manager with tasks and projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
