Job description

Responsible for collecting active A/R from insurance payers including insurance companies and home/business owners. Also responsible for billing and processing invoices. While this is the primary role for this position, all aspects of an administrative assistant will be handled when needed. Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and ensure accuracy of billing data
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Communicate with clients regarding billing questions or concerns
• Prepare and submit reports as required by management
• Maintain accurate and up to date billing records
• Enter data into QuickBooks
• Answer incoming telephone calls
• Create billing invoices in industry specific software

Requirements:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Must be open to taking on projects as needed

Preference:

· Ability to learn new software/programs – comfortable with technology

· Bilingual – English/Spanish

$18-21
