RRD is looking for an energetic, and highly motivated Bindery Operator 3 to join our team of at our Chamblee, GA facility!

• Work closely with management team to understand and assist with implementing action plans to achieve department objectives.
• Assume a leadership role in directing crew activities to meet production deadlines by adhering to work instructions and working safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures. Act as point of contact for any safety incidents or injuries; notifying member of management, immediately, and completing appropriate documentation.
• Reinforce safety training and safe work practices; participate in safety meetings. Ensure the effective use of all PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Be an effective team member, working collaboratively with others to foster teamwork and professionally resolve differences.
• Produce a quality product that exceeds our customer’s expectations; following the requirements of documented processes as defined in the ISO Quality Manual. Offer improvement recommendations or innovative ideas.
• Okay jobs for Operators, when necessary.
• Troubleshoot problems to maintain quality standards and keep equipment in good running condition.
• May maintain and update daily production records and produce reports.
• Assist management with supporting and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives, departmental maintenance activities, training, safety and special projects.
• Assists with training of new employees.
• Comply with company standard operating procedures and policies for equipment operation.
• Maintain a clean work area by properly storing supplies and equipment, removing waste, cleaning tools and eliminating spills. Participate in continuous training and development of employees.
• Recognize diversity. Be inclusive and act professionally with all people in the work environment.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• Communicate with Bindery Supervisor and Bindery Lead from the previous shift and review production schedule, changeover schedule, and issues from the previous shift

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of bindery equipment. Determine root cause of operating errors.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $22.36 - $29.07/ hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. • Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot all bindery equipment at the work location.
• Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and the impact work has on a department or the company.

• Must exhibit strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Previous Bindery experience in a printing facility.
