Pay Rate-Start: $17.51
6 Months: $18.03
12 Months: $18.54
Shift:12 Hour shifts working alternately (36) and (48) hour weeks. B/D shifts work from 6 pm to 6 am

Job Title-Blanker Operator

As a Blanker Operator you will:
- Work within and adhere to GPI’s core values
- Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies
- Checks quality of paper for issues
- Loads blanks on pallets and removes from machine area
- Mounts and maintains paper rolls
- Inspect each load of cut blanks for proper registration and quality defects
- Closely monitors and adjusts machines
- Clears scrap chute of waste product as necessary
- Performs routine daily maintenance
- Notifies Shift Supervisor and/or Group Leader of any issues
- Maintains 5S in assigned area
- Follows production schedule and completes necessary production reports
- Manages workload as necessary
- Follows all shutdown and start-up procedures
- Meets required Key Performance Metrics
- Communicates all issues with oncoming shift
- Fulfills overtime requirements as necessary
- Performs Lead Blanker Operator duties
Blanking Operator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 40-50 pounds
- Must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
- Must have Steel Toed Footwear
