Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking Blow Mold Machine Operator's to join our team in Mascot (Knoxville) Tennessee.

The Machine Operator will be responsible to setup and operate extrusion blow molding machines to produce large plastic parts for water sports and outdoor recreation products such as Kayaks, Canoes, Paddle-boards, and other products for the organization. Several positions and shifts are available from entry-level to skilled. Must be self-motivated, proactive, organized and have excellent communication skills, as well as a good attitude regarding team work and working well with all areas.

We are currently only hiring for our off shift positions. These are the available schedules:

• 2nd shift Monday - Friday with Saturdays as required @ 4:00pm - 12:30am. We are currently paying a 2nd shift differential of $3.00 per hour.
• 3rd shift Sunday Night/Monday morning - Friday with Saturdays as required @ 12:00am - 8:30am. We are currently paying a 3rd shift differential of $3.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

• Setup, and operate blow molding machines and plastics auxiliary equipment.
• Install molds and tooling.
• Perform changeovers, adjustments, preventive maintenance, etc. as required to support production schedule.
• Makes lean process recommendations and has the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Requires good mechanical aptitude and computer skills, attention to detail, and experience with the setup, operation, and trouble-shooting of automated production machinery. Plastics processing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as routine reports and correspondence, safety rules, procedure manuals, and general business documents.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral, or diagram form, and ability to deal with problems involving several variables.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Ability to climb tall stairs and work at heights above large machinery.
• Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft office which include Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Valid Tennessee driver's license is required and will be required to become forklift certified.
• Must have a clean MVR to be placed on our company insurance and MVR will be required.
• Overtime and including Saturdays will be required, as well as on call availability.
