Overview:
WELLESLEY, MA-Wellesley family is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY/PCA to care for and hang out with their teenage daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. Ideally, this person will have experience with the physically disabled. Position can be LIVE IN or LIVE OUT. Live-in accommodations include room and board with a private third-floor bedroom, bathroom, use of laundry, house and family car, and monthly health insurance stipend. The home is a block from a beautiful town center with access to the T. Position includes paid vacation, floating paid holidays, and overtime pay. This will be a fabulous experience for someone who wants the one-on-one experience of supporting a young adult with special needs. Must be fully COVID vaccinated with booster. Open to a graduate student or mature college student who can continue remote learning. The home is fully equipped with lifts and ramps, so no lifting is required. Hours are from 6-8am in the mornings Monday-Friday and afternoons and from 3:15-8pm (4:30-8:30pm when afterschool courses are in session). Wednesdays a short day at school which ends at either 1:15pm or 2:30pm. Hours are from 8am-5pm when school is not in session. They can be somewhat flexible with the schedule! The family is looking for someone with a passion for working with the physically disabled. The family will teach all aspects of care. Both parents work from home, so they are available to support. The family is kind, caring, and values their Nanny as a key member of their daughter’s support team. Applicants should be kind, responsible, upbeat, and caring. Start Date is ASAP. Pay rate $25-30/hour.

Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
