Other Half Brewery is looking for a committed warehouse associate to join our team in Brooklyn, NY!

Summary:

This position is focused on filling in the gaps for both the Warehouse and Distribution Teams. Responsibilities include supporting within the warehouse - organizing, cleaning, unloading trucks, driving trucks, moving pallets, and setting up the warehouse.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Maximizing space in order to store product efficiently in warehouses

• Construct, wrap and label pallets of product with precision

• Accurate completion of proper documentation concerning shipping/receiving

• Ensure dry-goods warehouse and cold room are kept clean and organized

• Tracks and records inventory of finished and partial pallets from packaging runs, and performs audits as necessary

• Ensures all positions on canning line have adequate and appropriate supplies

• Provides stock to tap room as needed

• Manually load and unload product from side loader truck

• Shipping & receiving of products (loading and unloading trucks)

• Lift, stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights to accounts

• Help with various other tasks/projects when required (inventory counts, deep cleaning, maintenance, pickups and deliveries, etc).

Equipment Operation - Safely Operates:

• Forklifts, box trucks, electric pallet jacks, non-electric pallet jacks, scissor lifts and any other machinery use

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a safe driving record

• Able to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 180 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the job

• Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year or more of logistics/warehouse management experience

• Previous beverage delivery industry experience preferred
