School Bus Driver RPT - 10-month schedule
Initial Location: Transportation
$19.01 - $27.70/hour - Permanent Bus Driver Part-Time
$1000 sign on bonus for drivers who possess a Class B license with S & P endorsements.
$500 sign on bonus for candidates who do not yet possess the school bus driving credentials -
contingent upon attaining a Class B license with S & P endorsements.
The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District is looking for school bus drivers. Must have good knowledge of driving safety practices; must be able to follow and understand oral and written directions; must be able to get along well with children. Knowledge of Kenmore/Tonawanda streets a plus.
Job Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: We will train a potential driver with a Class B permit and/or already possess a Class B license with S & P endorsements. Experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be over the age of 21. Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test. Must be committed to training and processes. No more than two (2) moving violations and one (1) preventable accident in the past 3 years. Ability to adhere to all district safety standards and operating procedures. Ability to successfully pass a background check. Passion for working with children.
