Responsibilities:

Basis my current role and basic United skill expectation, the following are the elements needed:

Airline domain knowledge – 2-3 years’ experience working with exposure in back office operations in airlines including ticketing, reservations, PNR elements, flight operations, network operations, Sabre/Skylinx TTY Message handling

Business Analyst Skillset – 5-7 years of BA experience in data integration, automation, data mapping, documentation, project management, and QA documentation. Process mapping and re-engineering and format validation skills.

Product Management Skillset – 2-3 years’ experience in reading Functional requirement documentation, Data contract mapping, aligning with upstream and downstream business stakeholders, and translating requirements.

Knowledge and skills along the following is a bonus:

Exposure to code to be able to parse and understand XML, XSL, JSON, YAML etc.

Exposure to Apple coding environment to be able to understand the product architecture

Exposure to AWS elements including SQS queues and database hierarchies to understand the data flow architecture
