The Business Applications Analyst acts as a business application subject matter expert, supporting users and reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business system (i.e. Entinuum, FuelNet, Dynamics) needs, serving as a critical part of the feedback loop where business process optimization is translated into system requirements. The BAA is also responsible for coordinating scoping, design signoff, use case documentation, coordinating testing, and implementation of company initiatives in order to drive efficiency, scale and performance enhancements through the business. This position will also ensure that the assigned company initiatives lead to a final product that meets the scope and expectations of the respective business cases. The position will be focused on business system roll-out for all MOC and MSP business units.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and clearly articulate business processes and related system requirements while working with BT to ensure system implementations satisfy business requirements through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Understand all customer needs with respect to invoices, purchase orders, price letters, orders, and integrations with customer and external vendor systems.
  • Work with business to identify ways to improve process execution and achieve strategy through the use of technology.
  • Look for ways to make processes more efficient and to reduce human touches
  • Challenge the business to improve current processes to ensure that company initiative is implemented to function as desired
  • Interact and communicate with multiple stakeholders across departments and incorporate the perspectives and needs of all parties involved.
  • Influence the organization through thought leadership, engaging with stake holders, business owners and project team members
  • Develop a roadmap for solution needs that support the short and long-term strategic objectives of the business unit.
  • Coordinate the capture, documentation and business sign off for functionality requirements for assigned project
  • Coordinate the user acceptance testing for business functionality requirements and ensure testing is completed within established timelines
  • Support users in use of technology.
  • Guide and direct the training and change management teams to communicate knowledge, system understanding, and change.
  • Equip the Change Management team with the information regarding how newly released technology will change their processes, and more importantly, how it will benefit the team and the company.
  • Act as a critical part of technology support mechanism/team across Mansfield enterprise(s).
  • Lead validation of requested system changes to meet business needs.
  • Understand service level agreements, facilitate adherence to those SLAs, and identify when current support capabilities need to be enhanced in order to meet defined SLAs.
  • Act as the liaison between business and technology personnel.
  • Manage and prioritize tickets (using BT’s various ticketing systems) for defects or enhancements to ensure highest priority tickets with largest return are escalated.
  • Leverage economies of scale through shared services and standardized processes


Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred (i.e. management, accounting, technology)

Knowledge & Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience, preferably energy business sector
  • Proficient working knowledge of Mansfield business departments and processes
  • Prior experience/proficiency using Mansfield Business Applications (i.e. eFuel, Entinuum, FuelNet)

Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite is required; with higher proficiencies in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Excellent analysis and organizational ability.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.

  • Hybrid Work Environment - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote once training is completed.
