ROLE SUMMARY
The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator position is responsible for supporting and assisting the marketing technology, events, customer relationship management (CRM) and experience management teams. The Coordinator will report to the Marketing Technology Manager in Atlanta and will be part of the firm-wide Marketing & Business Development Department.
Travel by the candidate to other firm offices located in California may be required occasionally when needed for assistance for M&BD events/activities in other offices.
The ideal candidate has law firm experience, is detail oriented and has excellent communication and follow-up skills.

The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is essential, as is the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial (spelling, grammar usage, writing skills, etc.). Working knowledge of legal terms and concepts are a plus.

- Assist in managing and posting content on the firm website, blogs, social media platforms, and distributing content through the firm’s email marketing platform.
- Prepare reporting as needed on visitor traffic to the firm website, blogs, and social media channels.
- Serve as member of the Biographies Team, responsible for posting and editing biographies and event postings on the firm website for lawyers based in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices and others as needed.
- Coordinate photography sessions for new lawyers based in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley offices.
- Provide support for projects related to data, enhancements, and/or testing for CRM and firm intelligence platforms.
- Assist the Events Team as needed with local firm events, sponsorships, and memberships. This can include the coordination of local firm client events (educational programs and entertainment activities), facilitation of sponsorships and related deliverables associated with the sponsorship and serving as a contact for local memberships and firm participation in related activities associated with the membership.
- Perform other marketing and business development related responsibilities and projects as necessary.
- Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced-level proficiency in online research and internet resources.
- Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts, and practical applications.
- Ability to effectively interact with lawyers.
- Advanced proficiency in English language usage, including punctuation, spelling, grammar and writing skills.
- Knowledge of legal services is a plus.
- Experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, InterAction, Vuture, Aderant, Concierge Live, Sitecore, WordPress, Haiilo and/or Foundation is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing or Communications).- At least 4 years of professional services and/or law firm experience (required).
