Business Development Coordinator helps to build brand awareness in their community. Business Development Coordinator displays courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the MPS community and with the public alongside the business development Director. They assist with the continued success of the organization and evaluate market opportunities and research specific target markets that could help the organization reach its full potential.

Essential Functions

• Be an expert witness for the company in every situation. Must be able to answer questions related to the history, mission, and vision of the company as well as practice philosophy and general questions that may arise.
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are progressive with the expected timeline, following the approved budget.
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up for all community-related events.
• Assist in Developing sales by marketing initial presentations to potential facilities; explaining our services and the added value to both the patient and the facility.
• Maintain and broaden networking to benefit the practice.
• Meet with ALFs, home health agencies, patients, and other referral sources to help establish new patients.
• Attend and advertise health fairs, conferences, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Work Environment

This is a marketing role in which you will be out in the field the majority of the time. Driving from account to account and meeting to meeting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. This position may require extended hours and availability to meet operational deadlines. Hours may be flexible depending on scheduled meetings and appointments. Outside business hours must be approved by the manager in advance.

Travel

Travel within the territory assigned. Bradenton, Sarasota, Charlotte area.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma required.

Experience

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in healthcare-Marketing, Sales, or Logistics.
• Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
