Diversus Health is a non-profit organization that provides therapy, psychiatry, addiction treatment and crisis services for the Colorado Springs area, helping people in dire need. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, your mission is to make data impactful and easy to use for all. When our clients can see their progress throughout their treatment, it truly changes their lives. When staff understand their impact on their clients, it gives them more meaning and helps them keep clients engaged. When leadership has a clear view on how the organization is doing and what programs are working, they can make smarter business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Learn about the organization’s processes, data sources and design standards.
- Create dashboards in Power BI that are easy-to-use and provide insightful data.
- Conduct research using white papers, internal and external data.
- Perform data analysis on a range of subjects and provide easy-to-read summaries of discoveries.
- Help lead process improvements to improve effectiveness, efficiency and organizational knowledge.
- Actively participate in meetings with other teams providing data support.
- Provide training that helps staff learn how to effectively use dashboards to do their jobs.
- Partner with IT and other system-support teams to integrate all data sources.
As a progressive organization we are constantly pushing the boundaries of how we use data. This position as Business Intelligence Analyst is key to our evolution, and a dynamic position where every week may involve different projects. Roles and responsibilities may be altered to accommodate changing business conditions and objectives, and employees may be asked to perform duties that are outside of the specific work that is listed. This position may also occasionally require overtime in excess of 40 hours in a work week.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, OR minimum three (3) years’ experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence, required.
- Strong analytic, organization, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Professional experience in creating and presenting business recommendations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with organizational leadership and internal and/or external stakeholders
- Experience in and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access / Database Management.
- Experience in and knowledge with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
- Excellent communications skills.
