Salary

$85,000 - $150,000 annual base pay (based on experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to machine learning and data analytics
• Experience designing, configuring, and developing a high-availability SQL Server environment including clustering, replication, mirroring, etc.
• Strong knowledge of database security and secure coding best practices.
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures & algorithms, problem-solving, and data analytics
• Willingness and ability to take on innovative projects

Responsibilities:

The Business Intelligence Developer leads the design, development, and deployment of business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization solutions and tools. The team works under the general supervision of highly qualified and experienced technical leadership.

Job requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with SQL language including performance tuning of queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with non-SQL data sources such as XML, flat-files, spreadsheets, and JSON
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and other ETL tools
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, and managing ETL processes
• Experience with data visualization tools and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Experience building KPI dashboards and other data visualizations and reports
• Experience with programming languages such as .NET, Python and R
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments
• Must be willing and ready to come onsite as needed
• Must be able to commute to Knoxville upon request, projected no more than 3 days per week
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
