Role Overview:
This onsite Clerical Assistant provides critical support to Centauri’s Out of State Medicaid team and the provider enrollment department. This is a fast-paced role that interacts with multiple team members. Team members are trained on multiple tasks and are encouraged to grow and develop while providing tremendous value to our healthcare clients.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Participate in 90-day training plan
  • Review accounts in a timely manner
  • Document findings and status within the system and prioritize workload
  • Identify trends and submit the necessary system updates
  • Upload supporting documentation to the system
  • Work collaboratively within a team
  • Meet productivity goals outlined by leaders
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail daily meeting timeframes and deadlines
  • Manage department email group inbox for enrollment and web portal requests
  • Conduct web portal registration maintenance and provide web portal support for users
  • Update hospital and physician licenses
  • Collaborate with the Senior Provider Enrollment Specialist to support needs
  • Follow up with the Medicaid agency to verify status of the credential request
  • Ensure system updates are accurate and reflect accurate client demographic information and important updates
  • Handle special projects and client reporting on as needed basis
  • Understand and agree to role-specific information security access and responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to the organizations information security policies
  • Read, understand, and agree to security policies and complete all annual security and compliance training
Role Requirements:
  • 1 year+ clerical and administrative, healthcare experience a strong plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Data entry experience and expertise
  • Proficient with computers and capable of navigating multiple operating systems
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and manage time
  • Can work effectively as part of a team, as well as, independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to set and meet goals
