What you will do:

Under general supervision, the Business Process Consultant:

• Supports the data management and reporting needs of Group Claims, including Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Absence, Life, Life Waiver of Premium and other supporting Claims functions
• Develops reports, dashboards, and analysis for Claims functions
• Provides analysis of Claim department results
• Executes and monitors established processes, ensuring availability and communication of data, reports, and analysis
• Works with Claims, IT, and other functional areas to identify, evaluate, and implement data management tools and reports to improve information and support department initiatives
• Documents and communicates procedures and guidelines for data management processes and tools
• Provides data and analysis for Management, industry surveys, Group Actuarial, Finance, and Compliance
• Works with management, business experts, IT, and other functional areas to create specifications for various data extracts and database applications used in the tracking, analysis, and reporting of claim related information

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of Group Disability, Absence, and Life claims
• Preferred experience with data management, querying, and analysis tools, such as:
  • SQL, Tableau, Python, and R

If you are a Colorado resident, the minimum starting salary for this position will be $59,500 annually. Sun Life will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for a broad range of competitive benefits including a choice of company-subsidized medical plans, consisting of network-based plans and plans offering the freedom to go to any provider and two company-subsidized dental plans.
