One of our clients has a brand-new opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join their team onsite in the San Jose, CA area. This Analyst will be conducting assessments of current Audio / Visual systems for remote participation meetings. These assessments will also help guide the gathering of requirements for a future solicitation. This role will support their team for around 6 to 9 months.
Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

These assessments will also help guide the gathering of requirements for a future solicitation. This role will support their team for around 6 to 9 months.
Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

Complete a survey of AV facilities in the County

Remote public participation meetings support

Review current architecture and bill of materials

Provide a report that includes but is not limited to:

Equipment inventory
-
Rack elevation
-
Schematic diagram
-

Engage with stakeholders to identify must-haves, nice-to-haves, what works and what does not
-
Articulate plans for expansion, capacity planning, and failure recovery
-
Must also consider constraints with existing and new space and infrastructure, e.g., cutover planning
-
May assist in building something net new in parallel to reduce down-time
-

Design and defend a standard vendor-agnostic architectural plan that meets the needs of the County

Considering requirements (including hardware, software, interfaces, and support), priorities, dependencies, constraints (including building and TSS standards), and available options and trade off analysis

Provide functional, technical, business, installation, training, and support requirements to build, test, migrate and support the AV system
-
May also assist in drafting RFP

Full-scope consulting services, which includes design and documentation, plus construction administration, project management, and oversight of the contractors

Assist with bidder’s conference, RFI's, etc.

Stay on to provide oversight of vendor installation
-
Pay Rate: $80/hr. - $102/hr.
Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
