POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with extensive Order Management experience who is passionate about improving all facets of the Customer Order Life Cycle.
This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes related to e-commerce and B2B Order Management. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all related systems and processes are efficient, accurate, and meet the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of curiosity that drives them to proactively seek out opportunities to improve the ways West Marine systems impact our customers and internal stakeholders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize system and process issues in a timely manner.
- Perform triage and root cause analysis on any significant impacts to system capabilities.
- Drive the implementation of fixes, features, and projects.
- Analyze our Omnichannel Fulfillment and Inventory capabilities to find opportunities to better serve customers and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement system monitors that ensure all order, payment, and fulfillment processes are behaving as expected.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to ensure that systems and processes are integrated and support overall business objectives.
- Become an expert on all base Salesforce OMS capabilities and help drive the West Marine and Salesforce product roadmaps.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with ecommerce Order Management Systems. Experience with Salesforce core platform is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of OMS best practices.
- Experience with extracting, reconciling, and analyzing data from multiple data sources (SQL or similar preferred).
- Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills.
