Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - The Cove – Kroontje Health Care Center

The purpose of this position is to provide routine nursing care in a manner conductive to the comfort and safety of residents under the direction of a licensed nurse in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the facility.

Requirements:

• Must be vaccinated against COVID 19 with current up to date record or have a qualifying medical or religious exemption.
• Able to work in a team setting and independently as well.
• A valid current and up to date C.N.A. license from the Virginia State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• We will also consider candidates who have completed CNA coursework and have scheduled their licensing exam.
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays.

Job duties include:

• Treat residents, family, visitors, and coworkers with respect and dignity
• Assist all levels of ADL care
• Attend all in-services classes as assigned and complete assignments
• Document resident vitals and incidents accurately and in a timely manner
• Observe all facility policies and procedures
• Accept assigned job duties in a cooperative manner

Shifts/Hours/Schedules:

• 6:00am – 6:00pm (3 12 hour shifts) with every other weekend shifts

• $50.00 reimbursement for annual medical exams and $25.00 reimbursement for annual dental visit with enrollment with our insurance plans.

• 90 Performance Evaluation
• Receive CPR and First Aid training

What to expect your first year with Warm Hearth Village:

• Eligibility for scholarship programs to pay for other certifications and college education
• Participate in various committees and focus groups on campus
• Annual Performance Evaluation
• Several employee appreciation events across our beautiful 220 acre campus
