CAD Draftsperson/ Cabinet Design

Job description:

Northeast Architectural is focused on providing Architects, Designers & Builders a curated portfolio of diverse products to meet their design needs. Our Showroom in Mamaroneck, NY is a comfortable environment for the trade to meet with their clients for an interactive experience with our products.

We are looking for an experienced CAD designer to work with our sales staff to support the sales effort

We are seeking for candidates with the following experience for our Mamaroneck location:

Skills Required:

- Demonstrated prior experience servicing the high-end, luxury building market

- Extensive experience designing custom kitchens and cabinetry solutions

- Ability to translate clients needs into unique, value-added designs

- Ability to measure Client sites

- Preparation of detailed Floor plans, elevations and renderings for client review

- Addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues

- Outstanding design conceptualization skills

Job Requirements:

- Prior experience communicating and working with architects and designers

- Support our sales staff by producing CAD floor plans and renderings for clients

- Preparation of detailed shop drawings for the shop to produce cabinetry

- Preparation of detailed installation packet with drawings and install instructions

- Process orders for customers in a timely manner

- Perform tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines

- Willingness to go above and beyond what is expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree in Architecture or Design

- Experience with European cabinetry

- Ability to work with the Metric system

- Expertise in AutoCAD, 2020 and rendering software

- Dynamic and energetic personality
