Job description

TJKZ Construction is seeking a CAD operator proficient with AutoCAD LT 2022 / Revit to work at our office in Dallas. A minimum of 1-2 years of CAD experience is preferred. This position will also involve multi-tasks including internet research, regulatory research, permit tracking, preparation of permit summaries, locating most up to date permit application forms and preparation of permit documents, and various other tasks to support the project management team. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project goals from supervisor and provide engineering design options to meet those goals. Provide specific design specifications to construct the design.

• Prepare drawings for sites to address facility modifications, expansions, and other changes due to business or environmental conditions.

• Participate with project team members to solve problems and provide guidance alternative design.

• Written and oral status reports to management on assigned projects on a regular basis. Identify and provide solutions to any project issues impacting the project schedule, budget, or design requirements.

• Proactively troubleshoot and problem solve with practical client-focused solutions.

Qualifications:

• An Associate Degree (or Equivalent Technical Training Program Certification) or higher in a related discipline required.

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of AutoCAD experience.

• This position also requires detail-oriented individuals that possess extremely strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $52,626.17 - $58,875.65 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
