This is a dynamic leadership position for a results-oriented leader who wants the challenge of running a successful business, including sales, hiring, training, leading, and managing. We are looking for a driven person who will get to know their team and lead them to achieve their professional role.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years of car washing experience, including detailing, and two successful years of experience as a General Manager of an Express Exterior/Interior Car Wash. Working knowledge of all aspects of a tunnel car wash’s mechanical, point of sale and IT systems are a must. Excellent customer service skills required. Strong written and excel skills plus excellent cash management skills also necessary for success. Referrals required. Small moving stipend available for the right candidate. Bi-lingual (Spanish-English) preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor team members on process and procedures.
• Handles discipline and termination of team members in accordance with policy.
• Ensures location is staffed for business every day covering open/close shifts.
• Oversees the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of all team members.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and administrative tasks.
• Maintains a clean and safe site at all times (tunnel, equipment and lot).
• Ensure all equipment and mechanicals are working to their optimum capability.
• Orders, stocks and maintains merchandise and inventory for site.
• Handles vehicle damage claims with a sense of urgency if they should come up.
• Prepares and handles daily cash deposits.
• Must have experience working in a car wash.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Person will work outside in a loud environment due to cat wash equipment. The person will be in constant motion and will have physical activities, such as lifting (0-50 lbs.), bending, and reaching.
