Schedule: Full-time

Shift: 6am to 3pm (Rotational schedule to include weekends. 4 shifts per week)

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Deland: 701 Plymouth Ave. Deland, FL 32720

The role you’ll contribute: This position requires the Cardiovascular Sonographer to be proficient in performing cardiac diagnostic tests for the determination, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac disorders.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Performs special procedure in Cardiology Department.
• Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Trans esophageal Echocardiograms, Doppler Analysis and Color Flow Analysis.
• Administers cardiac diagnostic procedures for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment, and work area.
• Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and uses independent judgment to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
• Performs Quality Assessment and participates in Performance Improvement.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum qualifications Level II: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Active registry with ARDMS or CCI in either Echo or Vascular required.

• Minimum qualifications Level III: Must have an Associate’s Degree from an allied health program (CVT,US, Respiratory, RN, Radiology, Nuc Med, etc.) or equivalent certification

Must have a minimum of one year of Echocardiography experience
Active registry with ARDMS or CCI in either Echo or Vascular required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.76 - $41.63 per hour
