Empath LIFE, a member of Empath Health is currently seeking a Care Team Assistant to join our team.

The Care Team Assistant:

• Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, provides administrative support to the PACE Center which encompasses the clinic and/or day center.
• Handles a variety of administrative duties to ensure accurate record keeping, comply with participant capacity for day center, adequate member flow through the clinic and support for some related marketing activities.
• Manages the Empath LIFE Center reception desk/Clinic reception desk.
• Supports administrative, clinical and day center staff with clerical duties such as faxing, scheduling, ordering supplies, etc.

Position Requirements:

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 7 plus years in administrative, writing, office experience. PACE knowledge and experience a plus.
• A minimum of two (2) years in a medical setting (hospital, clinic, medical office, nursing home, etc.). Has worked with the elderly and/or chronically ill. Experience managing patient schedules and a busy front desk or office environment.
• Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
