Juvenile Court Guardian Ad Litem/Court Appointed Special Advocate Program Coordinator (CASA) - Duties require independent judgment. This position provides professional staff support to recruiting CASA volunteers and ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. This position will be responsible for managing a caseload as well as supervising and coordinating the caseloads of CASA volunteers. This position assists in the recruitment, training, and retention of a diverse pool of community CASA volunteers who have been appointed by Judges to advocate in court for abused and/or neglected children. Performs duties and responsibilities specified in RCW 13.34.100-107 and applicable court rules while adhering to the State of Washington Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) Interagency Agreement

Requirements include: Preferred - a Bachelor=s Degree from a fully accredited college or university in social/behavioral sciences, criminal justice, or a closely related field.
