Southwest Health and Human Services currently has an opening for a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC) Social Worker. This positions location is TBD, however, must be in Marshall up to 2 days a week.

Southwest Health and Human Services (SWHHS) is a multi-county agency committed to strengthening individuals, families and communities by providing quality services in a respectful, caring and cost-effective manner.

This position has as its primary purpose to provide Chemical Health Assessments and Treatment Coordination Services for residents of SWHHS counties.

Minimum Qualifications:

•A person who has a minimum of an ADC temporary permit or be licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Minnesota per MN Statute Chapter 148F (LADC)

And

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university with a major in social worker, psychology, sociology or closely related field.

Or

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.
