We are looking for someone who could work 11:00am-6:00p Monday-Friday and some Sundays.

We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently at our vegan restaurant. Cashier responsibilities include taking orders, receiving payments, making smoothies and beverages for the customers, bag/passing out orders to the customers when they become ready. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a restaurant/fast food position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should be able to keep your area, lobby bathroom clean and fully stocked. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
Collect payments whether in cash or credit
Issue receipts, order numbers
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Make smoothies/beverages
Bag orders and hand them out to the correct customers
Work in a fast paced environment
Skills
Work experience as a restaurant cashier or in a similar role in sales
Good math skills
Strong communication and time management skills
Customer satisfaction-oriented
High school degree

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
