What this role is all about :

We are looking for a Sales and Category Manager-Cheese in Appleton, WI or Eden Prairie, MN.

• Organize, plan and execute sales initiatives for industrial and foodservice clients with a view to maximize volumes and profitability to achieve annual budget targets.

• Provide Cheese Sales team with data needs. Track data and trends of cheese sales and consumption domestically and internationally. Provide dashboards/reports as needed to facilitate data sharing with appropriate personnel.

• Identify appropriate sales targets through market research and maintain a database of new opportunities for sales team on new and existing customers.

• Develop account-specific business plans to meet marketing and sales objectives consistent with strategic orientation.

• Manage a detailed level of budgeting, forecasting, and management of profitability; identify, recommend, and execute changes to improve variances.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in a related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
