Certified Behavior Technicians needed!
Denali Care Services is a health care agency in Federal Way, WA. providing Home Care for seniors and ABA services for children with ASD. We are seeking individuals for one-on-one work with children and adolescents implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our clinic classrooms.

Experience with children/adolescents, behavior-management, and/or Applied Behavior Analysis is absolutely necessary. Our staff work with adolescents who fit into the intensive behavior category so applicants must be comfortable with working with clients of diverse abilities and behavioral patterns. Prior experience with de-escalation training as well as physical intervention programs is greatly preferred.

All state-mandated education, training, and on-going supervision, from highly experienced behavioral specialists (Masters and PhD-level), are provided.

A Certified Behavior Technician license from the WA Department of Health is a requirement before commencement of job duties. We will help all new hires through the CBT certification process.

This is a full-time position dependent on the district schedule. A minimum 12-month commitment is preferred, and we require you to have your own reliable transportation. Starting pay: $17 per hour. If you have experience with ABA, have a bachelor’s degree, or are already a Certified Behavior Technician then the starting wage will be higher.

Job Requirements

• This job requires skills such as: the ability to keep organized, ability to multitask, always maintain professionalism, have a team-work mindset, have compassion, practice patience, show the ability to effectively problem solve, and take initiative to compete tasks.
• The person in the position needs to transition from a stationary position to a moving position frequently throughout the day
• This person must be able to physically intervene with a client per a client's behavior programming. This includes using your body to block, move quickly after a client, have the physical ability to use defensive Right Response interventions such as dodge, evade, and perform holds and escorts (only when safety of the client or others is at risk).
• This person needs to be able to take data and graph accurately
• The person in this position needs to, on occasion, be able to lift 25 pounds.
