About Glacier National Park:

• Seasonal position starts immediately and extends through October 18, 2023
• Pay: $17.20/hr + tips
• Schedule Varies: Average 30-40 hours/week. Weekend and holiday availability required.

• Will perform Housekeeping Room Attendant duties 3 shifts per week and Housekeeping Inspector duties 2 shifts per week.
• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Ensure highest quality standards of housekeeping are met for guests and per Glacier National Park Lodges.
• Report any technical or maintenance needs.
• Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
• Comply with Lost & Found and key security procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for daily cleaning of guest rooms and bathrooms as assigned in timely manner:
  • Strips and remakes beds, roll-a-ways and cribs
  • Cleans and sanitizes shower, bathtub, shower curtain and toilet; restocks tissue
  • Sweeps and mops floors
  • Vacuums carpets, dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures
  • Cleans windowsills and porches
  • Brushes curtains, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Empties and cleans wastebaskets and relines with liners
  • Empties and cleans recycle bins and follows recycling procedures
  • Cleans ice buckets, coffee/tea stations
    
• Replenish bath care products, linens, and restock in-room coffee area.
• Assist with Lodge's laundry duties during shift as needed:
  • Fold and stock linens and towels.

• Act as Supervisor on their day's off.
• Prepare Room Attendant assignments for the shift.
• Strip beds.
• Inspect guest rooms after cleaning.
• Assist with stocking linen closets and Housekeeping carts.
• Clean rooms as needed while on Inspector shifts.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• Must be friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to meet deadlines for cleaning rooms to a high standard.
• Willing to assist with Lodge's laundry tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Frequent pushing, lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to complete repetitive motions.
• Working safely with required cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing and able to complete all Housekeeping Room Attendant job duties.
