Position Summary:

Responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the agency.

Requirements Required:

• Works with suppliers and vendors to secure services and equipment.
• Maintains up to date vendor/supplier lists
• Places Purchases Order requests to replenish inventory
• Reviews bids/quotes and submits to supervisor for approval.
• Purchases orders and equipment from supplier upon PO approval
• Reconciles deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
• Ensures timely delivery of supplies to the various departments.
• Maintains proper inventory levels
• Performs monthly inventory counts and submits report to supervisor.
• Maintain supervisor informed of inventory levels, supplier delays and/or issues.
• Maintains inventory data in the electronic inventory system.

Qualifications Required:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft excel and inventory software
• Excellent management and organizational skills
• Displays ability to work independently.
• Develops priorities for effective performance of duties, including re-prioritization in response to changes in circumstances.
• Analyzes information following established methods and techniques, creating results that do not require the employee’s own opinions.
