SUMMARY:
The Centralized Repossession Specialist I processes, tracks, and manages all approved repossessions for the company. The Centralized Repossession Specialist I will follow Lendmark Financial Services centralized process for all repossession activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate repossession requests and all valid documents required have been submitted and are in the repossession package
- Assignment to approved repo agents to include tracking and follow up for timely recovery of the collateral
- Maintain effective communication with repossession companies and branch network
- Refer to management any account the repo agent is unable to locate for additional skip tracing
- Ensure proper coding is placed on the account once collateral is recovered
- Coordinate all transport to the auto auction
- Release collateral back to customers after completion of redemption fees and payments to the branch
- Request title in ELT system
- Pull MMR request for the branches
- Support and escalate when necessary, inquiries in support of the Repo Hotline
- Cancel and Stop repossession per Branch request
- Manages risk relative to position
- Complete additional projects and/or duties as requested or required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 0-2 years of consumer finance or related industry experience
- High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
- Ability to work independently
- Quality Control oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, with attention to detail
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Traditional office environment
- Overtime and weekend hours may be required due to seasonal or month-end needs, or as requested

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
