Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday - Thursday; 7am - 5:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Certified Medical Assistant conducts complete initial patient evaluation
• Formulate a multimodality treatment strategy for the patients’ venous insufficiency, under the direction of a Physician
• Assist Physician, or NP in exam rooms; provide instructions to patients as directed
• Certified Medical Assistant will educate patients on treatment options, recommendations of Physicians and assist patient in scheduling treatments
• The CMA will be involved with all continuity of care initiatives, including one month, six month and then annual follow ups
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records
• Assume duties of a Surgical Tech when needed, including prep and assisting in procedures. Maintaining proper sterile field. Sterilization of surgical instruments.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
• Must have reliable transportation
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
