The Child Impact Facilitator will be responsible for leading family driven youth guided seminars dealing with the impact of divorce or separation on children and families. The Seminars are mandated by the State of New Hampshire Judicial Branch to provide information to married or unmarried parents appearing before the Court System to help children deal with issues surrounding divorce, separation, and the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities,. The Seminars are four hours and their purpose is to minimize the impact on children of the litigation process and family separation. The Child Impact Facilitator will be responsible for the delivery of the State Mandated Child Impact Seminars. They will be responsible for implementing the Child Impact Curriculum with fidelity. They will ensure families and caregivers are partners in this range of services and are referred to the necessary resources to respond appropriately to their children’s needs during this difficult period. The Child Impact Facilitator must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field, be licensed in the State of New Hampshire or be licensable in Mental Health Practices according to New Hampshire Statutes Chapter 330-A. The Child Impact Facilitator must be familiar with the impact of divorce on children, human development, and children’s emotional needs. The Child Impact Facilitator will work under the supervision of the Parent Outreach Program Coordinator to facilitate parent education, address good parenting skills, and the initialization of the impact of divorce or separation on children.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work or a related field licensed or recognized for licensure by the State of New Hampshire Statutes Chapter 330-A, or the ability to receive a waiver from the New Hampshire Community Behavioral Health Association.
