Who we are looking for:

We are looking a compassionate, talented Child Life Specialist that is eager to join an exciting, growing organization.

What You Will Do:

As our Child Life Specialist, you will use your talent and abilities in many ways, including, evaluations, and re-evaluations during the patients visits, conduct activities in patient homes to identify the psychosocial, financial, environmental and Developmental. Participate in the patient care planning process and collaborates with physician's orders, assessment data, and established standards and guidelines. Implements a plan for patient safety. reports unsafe conditions and the outcome of each visit to the appropriate Supervisor. Counsels, instructs and includes the patient and family in following the Plan of Care and meeting Child Life Specialist and related needs.

What You Must Have: -

Current CCLS Certification or within 6 month of certification

New grads accepted

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or related field, completion of 10 core college courses required by the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP)

Certified by the ACLP or able to obtain certification within 6 months

Completion of 600 hour internship

Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance

Experience in a health care setting preferred; hospice or Home Health experience strongly preferred.
