Our flourishing craft cider company is looking to expand our cider production and distribution across North Carolina. We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Cider Production Assistant to support our daily cider making operations. If you love cider and challenges, and can work well in a fast-paced environment, we cannot wait to see your resume!

The ideal applicant would possess the following experience and skills:

• An interest in learning in making cider.

• Experience operating machinery including fork lifts, canning lines, etc.

• Desire to learn about the apple industry.

• Mechanical mindset and basic maintenance and repair skills to operate equipment such as cider press, canning line, etc.

• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis to move crates of apples and apple cider and other heavy objects.

• Comfort with a physically challenging job, and a willingness to work throughout the year including winter months.

• Team player who wants to work in a place where people enjoy their job and love helping each other to achieve daily objectives.

• Associates, Bachelors, or equivalent experience.

• Experience working in a brewery/cidery is a plus

• Strong work ethic, Flexibility, Good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Working under the guidance of the Head Cider Maker and Warehouse Manager to assist with all aspects of cider packaging and cider making.
• Preparing apple juices, filling kegs, canning, boxing, and ensuring consistent cleanliness of work areas.
• Assisting in preparing cider orders and inventory management through different systems.
• Delivering finished orders to our distributor.
• Help innovate new cider blends to help grow our portfolio.
• Ability to work occasional festivals/events within North Carolina'
