Full Job Description:

KA Logistics, Inc. has an opportunity for a Driver Recruiter. The function of the recruiter role is to source, identify, and screen applicants for our current driving needs and report back to the Safety Manager.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

· Self-starter and ambitious

· Handle a high volume of cold calling for recruiting drivers while adhering to FMCSA & company policies

· Work with Manager to prioritize recruiting efforts

· Perform sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and present qualified candidates

· Conduct thorough interviews with job seekers daily (via the phone)

· Document all notes and information in the applicant tracking system for follow up

· Source candidates through various methods including, advertising, candidate database and job boards

· Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with all candidates, while representing KA Logistics professionally at all times

· Organized and great communicator

· Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations including the Department of Transportation

· Good at managing their time and effective at getting their job done in 8 hours

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Works well independently

· Ability to work under tight deadlines, interruptions, and stressful situations
