Job description
JOBThis position plans, coordinates, and supports the proper selection, implementation, maintenance, management, and support of all campus classroom technology associated with delivery of instruction. This position is responsible for the daily operations and support for 240+ classrooms, conference rooms and other areas on campus including supporting and maintaining all associated technology in support of the university’s mission. This position will also be responsible for providing the required training to faculty, staff and students on effective use of classroom technology.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorking knowledge of audiovisual control systems such as Extron, Biamp, and CrestronExperience working with audiovisual equipment, including projectors, various elements of sound systems, and classroom-specific peripherals like document camerasAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentExperience with managing AV projects, including upgrade cycles and construction projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
5 years' experience support audiovisual equipmentExperience in higher education environmentsExtron Control Professional certificationOther Extron certificationsAVIXA CTS certificationExperience with supporting soft codec videoconferencing systems, such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
